Kayak Snapshot:

When she is not busy in the medical profession helping people, Julia is enjoying kayaking in her new Old Town Adventure 125 Kayak with her family. With more Doctorate Degrees then most people could have the perserverance and tenacity for, in the end we are all the same and need that escape. Sometimes you gotta get out of here! She is quoted as saying, This picture is taken; "of me and my son Charlie in our kayaks.  The site is Harrods Creek in Louisville, near Prospect, Kentucky." By the way Julia, have you ever written a script for kayaking, for stress and exercise? Thanks Julia! We apprecate the pictures!

Kayak Hanger, Created by Tom Gilbertson -

Tom is quoted: "Here is the way I ended up setting my boat up in the garage. There is 6'9" clearance at both ends, it is quite nice to have accessible for easy loading. I made a set of workhorses to lower and set on so as not having to move everything out of the way. I made them tall enough to be above my lawnmower as well. Thought you could use info if asked." Tom Gilbertson - Thanks Tom. We appreciate you for sure. Very well built! Nice Old Town Camper Canoe ya' got there! Click on the picture for an enlargement

Fall / Winter 2007 - Wildlife Shapshot:

When you are out kayaking or canoeing, take your camera. Did he see me first, or did I see him? It surprised me after I saw the picture, to see him staring right back at me. Bald Eagles are my favorite photo opportunities. They are never easy to get. It has been a great year for bald eagle shots. Check out our Canoe and Kayak Fun Archives 07 for another great picture of one..

Kayak Snapshot:

With her husband as the kayak photographer from his new kayak, Renee contributed these pictures of their kayak trip. She quotes, "They are taken on what's called the Wabana Chain of Lakes. They are crystal clear lakes that are linked together by small channels. We paddled our kayaks through Wabana Lake, into Little Trout Lake and then into Trout Lake." Thanks Renee for your great kayak pics in your new Old Town Kayak, Cayuga 110. Nice looking boat, if I do say so myself. Of course we are partial to Old Town! (place your mouse over the picture to see another kayaking picture)
